Objective:
To provide opportunities to minority and under-privileged students in India to pursue higher education in STEM degrees so they can be successful in their STEM profession.
Selection Criteria:
• Scholarship is available to graduate/undergraduate students who are legal residents of India enrolling in STEM courses. Preference will be given to students enrolled in Masters/Ph.D. programs (non-stipend-bearing)
• Applicants must be either a full-time graduate/undergraduate student majoring in a STEM discipline or a final pre-university student ready to enroll for an undergraduate degree in the same year in a STEM field.
• Student’s/student’s family’s (verifiable) income should meet the low-income/need-based criteria as per the local laws.
Applicants Must Submit:
1. Resume/CV (Curriculum Vitae) including the most up to date transcripts (from 10th standard to the most recent examination you have taken) + your Photo.
2. Letter/Proof of enrollment in STEM courses issued by a college/university including student name, course name, and annual fees for the year.
3. Letter of recommendation from your current teacher/professor/counselor written on their official letterhead and duly signed/sealed/dated by the teacher/professor/counselor.
4. A statement of purpose/SOP or brief Essay describing as to why you deserve this scholarship based on your educational/career goals.
Selection Process:
• It should be understood by the students that selection of scholarship recipient is based on the overall quality of an applicant’s submission.
• The committee will not consider applicants who do not comply fully with the above requirements.
• CV, transcripts, statement of purpose, recommendation letter, enrollment letter & Income Certificate should be in PDF format to be submitted online as attachments to the application form.
