Graduate/Undergraduate Scholarship for the Study in STEM

Objective:

To provide opportunities to Muslim students to pursue higher education in STEM degrees so that they can become future technology and business leaders.

Selection Criteria:

  • Scholarship is available for undergraduate/graduate students who are legal residents of USA enrolling in STEM courses.
  • Applicant must be either full time undergraduate/graduate student already majoring in a STEM discipline, or a senior high school student graduating and enrolling in the fall of same year and intending to major in a STEM field
  • Student’s/family’s income should meet the low-income/need-based criteria.
  • Former recipient of the scholarship is not eligible to apply for the current year. This condition doesn’t apply to graduate study students.

Applicants Must Submit:

  1. Most up to date transcript
  2. A CV (Curriculum Vitae)
  3. Applicants must have at least one letter of recommendation submitted on their behalf emailed directly to our email address
  4. A one page letter describing how the student aims to further the study in STEM or an essay, perhaps written for a class taken in the past, demonstrating the student’s engagement with some aspect of STEM
  5. Proof of enrollment in STEM courses at a college/university
  6. All documents must be submitted in PDF format only.

Selection Process:

It should be understood the selection of scholarship recipient is based on the overall quality of an applicant’s submission.

Available to Muslim students pursuing higher education in STEM area.
The committee will not consider applicants who do not comply fully with the requirements.

Selected candidates will be awarded $1,000 each (one thousand US dollars) towards the cost of tuition and fees.
